The North Charleston Police Department celebrates Chaplain Luciano Soto for Hispanic Heritage Month. Chaplain Soto’s parents migrated to NYC in the 1950s and he was born in the Bronx. We are so thankful for Chaplain Soto and our partnership with the Coastal Crisis Chaplaincy. During times of great emotional stress, Chaplain Soto is there for our Spanish speaking community in prayer. He also serves our first responders, often participating in ride a longs or roll call training. He is a member of the Charleston Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, immersed in the Dignity Project, and other community projects. Feliz Mes de La Herencia Hispana, Happy Hispanic Heritage Month.
