In a friendly competition to determine who was the “reddest” on Red Nose Day, North Charleston’s Police Chief Eddie Driggers and Fire Chief Greg Bulanow went head to head to raise money for children in poverty. In the end, $2895 was raised, which will be donated to Tricounty Family Ministries in North Charleston.
Red Nose Day aims to end child poverty by raising money and awareness for kids in the U.S. and around the world.
Since Chief Bulanow did not raise quite as much as Chief Driggers, he was considered to be not quite “red enough.” The only fix for that was a big bucket of red paint.
