This week’s North Charleston Farmers Market on Thursday, June 10, is the first back in our regular format! Goodbye essential goods mini market, hello full capacity farmers market! Our 4 local farmers (Joseph Fields Farm, Robert Fields Farm, Frank Simmons Farm, and Bernard Freeman Farm) will be joined by Kim’s Snacks & Coffees (fresh milk/eggs, desserts, boiled peanuts, lemonade, and iced coffee), Sea Island Organics (elderberry syrups, kits and teas), Sweet Mae’s (small batch foods for post-partum, lactation, popsicles, toddler snacks, smoothies, and granola), Big Daddy’s Pork Skins, Craft & Canvas (Make & Take crafts for kids, planter pots, artwork, handmade cards), Silver OZ Designs (handcrafted sterling silver and gemstone jewelry), With Love by Sleepy (bowl/cup cozys, wristlets, hats, coasters, baby blankets, pins, stickers & more), Paintings by Matt Kim, and Charleston Coastal Creations (crafted cutting boards, earrings, tumblers, welcome beads). The SC DHEC WIC Mobile Clinic will also be on site along with Learn4Life Charleston with registration & school info. This week’s featured food truck is Area 51 Foods. They’ll be serving delicious bowls, subs, wraps, and more! And finally, we are excited for the return of live music with Mark Jackson Music‘s acoustic groove! Music is from 5-7, market runs from 3-7pm. C’mon out to the Felix C Davis Community Center, y’all!
