NCPD officer chosen for Bulgarian American Police Assn.
Please join NCPD in congratulating Officer Dimitar Stoilov, one of the newest members of the Bulgarian American Police Association. Officer Stoilov was born in Nova Zagora, a beautiful town located in the southeastern plains of Bulgaria, and grew up in Stamboliyski, another beautiful town located on the banks of the Maritsa river. He came to the United States as a teenager and few years later joined the U.S. Air Force. After serving four years on active duty he was honorably discharged in 2009. Officer Stoilov then attended college, and in 2012 started working as a deputy in Berkeley County. After working at the sheriff’s office for three years, Stoilov came to our agency and works as a patrol officer.
