NCPD officers attend Violent Crime Reduction Summit

Deputy Chief Scott Perry, Major Michael Aiken II, Captain Howard Thomas, Sergeant Robert Bailey, and Chuckie Middleton attended the 2022 Public Safety Partnership Violent Crime Reduction Summit in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Executive leaders and key stakeholders from PSP sites, DOJ officials, and subject-matter experts convened to examine programs of interest and additional evidence-based practices to increase public safety, enhance partnerships in the participating communities, and reduce violent crime.

Site Planning
Building Police and Community Relationships
The five participants representing our agency along with our community gained invaluable knowledge which will enhance our commitment to reducing violent crime in partnership with our federal partners and additionally will help strengthen our relationships with members of our community.
