This past weekend the North Charleston Police Department Recruitment Unit hosted a very successful “One Stop Shop Hiring Event.” We had applicants ranging from 20-45 years old. During the event the applicants attended a panel discussion that allowed them to ask questions and hear personal experiences from some of our officers. They also completed a physical agility test and a written test. During lunch they had the opportunity to speak with officers in our specialized units. At the end of the event, qualified applicants were interviewed by NCPD’s Executive Command Staff and received a conditional offer. We will have another “One Stop Shop Hiring Event” in September.
