Some programs require a registration application and registration fee while others may not. Please note this listed under each program. CASH IS NOT ACCEPTED AT REGISTRATION; only checks, money orders or cashier checks.

SUMMER CAMP
2024 SUMMER CAMP FULL!

The North Charleston Summer Camp program takes place at three locations across North Charleston – Felix Pinckney Community Center, Gethsemani Community Center & Northwoods Community Center.
This program is open to North Charleston RESIDENTS ONLY!
All registration space are non-refundable and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
Ages: 5–12
Registration Fee: FREE (Pre-registration required)
Location(s): Felix Pinckney, Gethsemani and Northwoods Park
The North Charleston after school program is designed to keep your child motivated and active after school while providing quality supervision and guidance.
We focus on academic enrichment and recreational activities designed to teach your child valuable leadership and life skills they can use in their everyday decision making processes.
Commitment, responsibility, socialization, creativity and physical activity are the key components of the program which ensures that children are on track to become productive citizens of society.
CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL 
Date: Friday, May 3rd, 2024
Ages: Pre-school-2nd grade
Registration fee: Free
Location(s): CCSD Regional Stadium
Held on the first Friday in May from 9:00 am-1:00 pm, the Children’s Festival is a major part of the annual North Charleston Arts Festival. Children are encouraged to dress in weather appropriate, comfortable clothes as activities will be held outdoors.
Join us at the 2024 Children’s Festival: There’s No Place Like North Charleston, where the magic awaits! Follow the yellow brick road to a day of music, arts & crafts, games, performances, and more fun filled themed activities.

HARVEST FESTIVAL

In partnership with the North Charleston Cultural Arts Department, the Annual Harvest Festival is a great way to celebrate Halloween. This free community event includes, trick or treating, kids zone & activities, music, vendors, costume contest and more!

CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL & PARADE

This free annual city event is a holiday gift to the community. Families, friends, and neighbors share the joys of the season through music, children’s activities, festive food and decorations, thousands of twinkling lights, visits with Santa, and a parade.
